DanielSebastian~ 4246 blog postsI've noticed that the composition for 12704 and 12703 don't seem to fit the norm. Ideally 12704 runs with CC -( ENG - EOG -GEN -H1- A1- A2- B1 - B2 -B3 - B4 -B5 -B6 - B7 - B8 - PC - S1 - S2 - S3 - S4 - S5 - S6 GEN - SLR - HCPV), undergoes Reversal at VSKP and continues to HWH. But 12703 runs with reverse composition as mentioned above, starting from HWH i.e S6 is at the start, when it should be the reverse .I've checked official sites and it seems like this is infact the case. Can anyone explain what is going on here? So does SRC CDO rearrange these coaches to be in this order? I've seen similar patterns happen to Chennai Mail and Coromandel, but not for SMVB HWH SF. It makes sense for diverted rakes and also if the rake composition is reverse. It means that the rake composition is just not consistent. Even for 12704 then. Also for SER, considering their record on horrible maintenance, that would be a futile task to deliberately shuffle the coaches.
