Jhandu Balm 123 blog postsI think that some Duronto Express should be reconsidered and converted into an AC express which allows reservations on intermediate stations. For eg, the Mumbai Indore Duronto Express : This train goes empty most of the time, atleast in non peak seasons as there aren't as many people who will travel in AC on this route (all the way from Mumbai to Indore). Hence there should be some consideration in some trains.
A lot of my relatives and friends travel between Mumbai and Ratlam and this train has very good timings for travel on this route reaching Ratlam at 7:40 am in the morning. Right now, they have to pay the full fare upto Indore to travel upto Ratlam...

if the reservation is allowed for intermediate station, then they have to allow boarding also from that station, and it will make a huge mess to the train, so pay extra and travel safe!!
