Meanwhile Supreme Court has ordered to remove all the slums on the railway land in Delhi region. But politics has always obstructed the implementation.
These slums not only hinder train operations but it dangerous the people living along the tracks too …

Only couple of weeks back, I was travelling via a local train bound for DLI. I saw a guy with headphones on an active track. The Gorakdham was being shunted and the driver was honking crazily. It was only at the last moment that the guy removed himself from the tracks. Towards the leftwards tracks, the homes almost merge with trains. And on the active UP/DN tracks, people play cards usually.
