Special Trains between Visakhapatnam and Chennai Egmore

East Coast Railway is running special summer trains between Visakhapatnam and Chennai Egmore to manage the increased demand during the season. Train No. 08577 will depart from Visakhapatnam at 17.35 hrs on Mondays (27th May, 03rd, 10th, 17th, 24th June, 2024) and reach Chennai Egmore at 08.45 hrs the next day....

The return train, No. 08578, will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.30 hrs on Tuesdays (28th May, 04th, 11th, 18th, 25th June, 2024) and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 01.00 hrs the next day. The train composition includes 10 AC Three Tier Economy Coaches, 6 Sleeper Class Coaches, 2 General Second Class Coaches, 1 Second Class Coach (Divyangjan Friendly), and 1 Luggage cum Brake Van. Advance reservations for these special trains are open from the Southern Railway End.
