Passenger 1: Confirmed: CNF (Booking Status: CNF:S6:50:MB:GN)
Passenger 2: Waiting: WL:84 (Booking Status: WL:214:GN)

In the above case, Passenger 1 got CNF status while Passenger 2 is still in Waiting List at WL84(GNWL).

It should be continuous right ? Like the passenger 2 should be having their status as either RAC:1(GN) or WL:1(GN) right? How is it WL:84? Someone please explain me.
How is the above case possible?
Please explain me, I'm a noob railfan

suppose a train travels from A to C and for A to C there is WL 84 and u vooked might be from A to B or any intermediate station and there 1 berth was available b/w particular station so 1 berth got confirmed and the next passenger got wl 84 due to only 1 berth was available for that particular station
