Oh, I didn't see that. My fault, thanks for pointing it out. Railways have excess 3E and they don't know what to do, so they keep augmenting them wherever they can.

It's not actually that bad for passengers as it is criticised. I'm 6'2 and I've traveled in 3E on LB, UB and SU. Didn't face any issues as such.

yeah, as mindlessly AC coaches were introduced in bulk, similarly they're being reverted back. If this continues, it is going to be as bad as rake standardization.

3E used to eat up sleepers back then, now it will eat up AC coaches. Even if I said they aren't uncomfortable, I won't prefer them just for a difference of 25-100 rupees.
