Why Railway board never took action for increasing the frequency of this train? Earlier it is the direct train to Varanasi but later during Lalu's time as a RM, this train was forcibly extended to Chhapra in 2008 and many South Indians were protested against this. I saw often this train many spiritual tour operators using this train usually above 50-60 ages for visiting Prayagraj Varanasi for doing Pind Daan, Pitru/Shraddha Karma etc also lots of South people visit this above places. Better SR can run another train to Varanasi via BPQ G NIR JBP route for shortest route if slot is not available and there is not even a daily train to Varanasi to Chennai since ages. Travelling in Sanghamitra/Bagmati/other weekly trains towards Bihar and changing at DDU is quite riskier as from an perspective of South Indian spiritual traveller. LKO NR is specifically one of the worst zone in most of the matters, NER is still okay but never understood why trains which ran full throughout the year were extended, it's just a talk that BSB has gotten soo many trains due to our beloved MP holding the Prime Minister chair. Extension of BSBS-NDLS SF, Ratnagiri (now GKP-LTT SF via MAU), Kamayani, Bapudham SF are prime examples.

DDU is very accessible, I don't think there's much difference between BSB and DDU, urban area wise anyways. The only problem is road

connecting BSB and DDU and that coal mine like area in between and the fact that many people who are not well aware and are heading towards Varanasi, don't know about DDU and how there's even busier station than BSB in a 20 Kilometre proximity of Varanasi.
