12810 derailed between Rajkharswan west outer and Barabamboo in Chakradharpur division at 343 am after a possible side collision with freight.Tata WAP 7 37077 was leading 12810 which has been badly damaged .2 passengers dead from B4 coach which was capsized and 18 passengers According to the statement of Train manager of 12810-Train was at 120 kmph when the derailed loaded wagons of E/NJBCT obstructed the main line and the train consequently derailed.LP and ALP seriously injured.

One disturbing trend in the recent train accidents is that almost whole train derails in the accident as seen in Pawan express , Coromandel accident,North East, Chandigarh Dibrugarh etc.This needs to be looked into.The asset loss of these 4/5 accidents alone is above 500 cr+.
