The feasibility study is being conducted by a panel of 11 project management consultancies, who will submit quotations. The lowest bidder will be awarded the project. In Bhagalpur, the proposed metro line would run from Sabour to Nathnagar. The Patna Metro project is currently underway, and is expected to become operational by next year. In addition to Patna, the Bihar government has also decided to extend the metro network to Patna Airport and Patna Sahib.
