Footfall will be low due to route. I had said this earlier also. But as you said, very few trains follow this route. Therefore, more trains are required in this route. So, let this train run through this route. Moreover railways must have its reasons for introducing this train in this route.
More trains on that route require it's true but the present trains passing on that route never runs timely. About 18427 gets always late atleast 1:30 hrs and never reached CNI, MURI , BKSC on time..
That's because SER is only focusing on goods trains for earning money. It is always stopping express trains and passenger trains and giving pass to goods trains. That's why all express trains and passenger trains get late on passing through SER section.
I think you are giving railways too much credit. If they had thought about it, they had know that introducing a VB train through rural Jharkhand is a disastrous proposition. If they really wanted to benefit people of stations like Kendujhargarh, they had either run an Intercity [I mean, what benefit can VB provide when the tracks don't go beyond 110 kph?] or an overnight train.
I am not giving railways any credit. Read my post again. I am discrediting railways. I am saying that railways is only focusing on goods trains for earning money and giving pass to goods trains after halting express trains and passenger trains.
