Five days later, on September 19th, Sکندر's body was found near Barakar station, and his family identified him at Asansol hospital. While the railway police have registered a case, the family suspects foul play, claiming Sکندر's girlfriend's family and in-laws had threatened him earlier. The JIP member, Gulam Quraishi, who visited the family, also believes it to be murder and has promised to support the family in filing a case and seeking justice.

Uske family ne Asansol hospital mein unki pehchaan ki. Railway police ne case register kar liya hai, par family ka maanana hai ki ye murder hai.
