Was trying to book a tatkal ticket, it went from 40 available to 20 waiting in matter of seconds.
I guess the "Odds" of getting a Tatkal ticket are rather high if you sleep at the Entrance of the "Reservation Complex"at the nearest station than depending on some 10th century "IRCTC" website.

Yes, you can go and stand in the queue at least for 4-5 hours, and the chances of getting a CNF ticket is very high, especially for a weekend travel.
