I am going to travel in the 12264 nzm pune duranto on 24th jan in 2nd a.c. Should i be demanded the extra fare onboard by the tte..?? Also i had booked my ticket under a military concession i.e 50% off,so what would the tte demand..?

No no...i want to ask that ki if i am paying the half fare with a 50% concession than kya mujhe jo yeh fare increment bhi half pay nahi karna chahiye..? Means the increment should also fall under the concession na...??
fare and discounts are calculated on base fare...
suppose fare from A to B is rs.400...basic fare being 320 rs. now you have got 50% discount on base fare so- you have paid rs.160 plus rs.80(the surcharges are rs.400-rs.320)( no discount on surcharges)
say after increment the new fare is rs.380. so now the fare should be rs.190 plus rs.80(surcharges have not...

Ohkk...now i understand. So means base fare comes in concession bt surcharges not. Thanx.it will really help a lot.
broad gauge** ji to earn revenue Rly has increased paise/km...so concesional tickets will also get costly..same /km increase applies to them also.
