but that would be of no use without track upgradation . even the present LHBs can easily run at 160 and even 180 , but no tracks for it . first tracks have to be upgraded to at least 175-200 kph before such EMU rakes can be feasible . The improvement is max speed in IR in 40 yrs has only been from 120 to 150 (dat too for only 1 train -BPL shat ) ,quite disappointing stats ,, given the present situation , i wonder whether well get to see 150+ speeds of normal trains in our lifetime ..
