We all know that railways has started GC on Ratlam -Indore section first, but just few facts:
RTM - INDM = 118 km, shortest route by BG currently is 176km, By doing GC It Saves 58 km.
INDM - KNW = 142 km, shortest route by BG currently is (217km + 275km) ( INDB-BPL + BPL-KNW), By GC on this section Saves 350km.

I think it has also to do with the zone, RTM is with WR and INDB is also with WR, so easy to work, while Khandwa is with CR, may be they have some difficulty in working together.
