In Rainy season, ie when tracks are wet, can a train run @ 130 km/hr..?
MOst LPs keep a vigil...
Sanders help to prevent slipping of trains in curves...
Most prefer 100 to 110 kmph if extreme rain is there... depends on the experience of LPs

boss Bhopal Shatabdi jis route se travel karti hain waha ikke dukke din hi baarish hoti hain..so not much problem...I've seen in NFR region(what you call as extreme rain & storm),depending upon the severity of natural calamity trains run 45-60 kmph...b/w APDJ-NJP there are so many places where landslides occur, especially around Lish & Ghish River...you cant compare the situation with the route of Bhopal Shatabdi..if its raining there then I think Loco Pilots will feel relaxed because that is extreme hot climate zone...that is one of the reason why Bhopal Shatabdi has been able to achieve 130 kmph...because no landslide problem there
Red many a times in newspaper that the Land-slides occur many a times..
