As per news report (Mathrubhumi, Chennai Edition, dated 4.4.2013), a Malayalee Association from Chennai had requested RM to route the VSKP-QLN train, announced in this year's budget, via MAS, as it would benefit more passengers with additional run of just 2 hours. The routing via MAS would also benefit the passengers to/from MAS, from Kerala too, they claimed.

How will Kerala benefit if this is routed via south TN to TVC/QLN?
Routing through NCJ is weird, like the routing of MAQ- SBC through PGT, let it travel in 08570s route.
Why? The train is to cater the Malayalees needs.
THis was proposed by the Malayalies associations in VSKP for the past 3 budgets and it should not be Diverted via NCJ.

The train is termintated at QLN bcoz of no facilities at TVC station for more berthing of trains.
Ernad runs vaccant from TVC to NCJ. the ac attendant told he gets good sleep in AC coach with AC running till NCJ and back till TVC,

Parashu gets ok demand since those who dont want to get into heavy rush PAss prefers this and also the return from NCJ to TVC more now prefer Parashu than MDU QLN passenger
