Why is it needed? Its of no use.
Knowing to which zone the station belongs is of no use.

Yes its not of much use but still it provides some more info about a particular station...
I dont think so as most of the stations will be too far from their respective divisions. For eg TCR is in TVC Div which is more than 250 KM.
