Here you can see WR introducing the train, while it is an ER train. Similarly augmentation was announced by WR, so in the same way ER must have augmented it. And thats my point. You must watch it today night. It just passed my town, but I couldnt spot. So plz confirm it.

its laughable that a train passing through Industrial cities like Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Bokaro,Rourkela, Bhilai has so less number of AC berths

Because they forgot that this train would pass through the biggest industrial belt of India. Yes, it is the biggest industrial cluster Durgapur (SAIL)-Asansol (SAIL)-Dhanbad(BCCL)-Bokaro(SAIL)-Muri(HINDALCO)-Ranchi(BHEL)-Rourkela(SAIL)-Bhilai(SAIL). Take Chandrapura (CTPS), though no halt here.
Now it is 110% confirmed that the new augmented coach is of ER, not WR. On this weekend, I went for railfanning and got to see the arrival of this train. The augmented S7 coach is a dirty one and worse than other coaches with ER mark.
But at least its an extra coach which was needed and has provided some relief to WL passengers.
