Nine passenger trains are being stopped at different stations (position at 11.00 A.M) because AKRASU has staged a Rail Roko (blockade) on track at Chautara station since 7.28 A.M. demanding separate Kamatapur State & ST status for Koch Rajbanshis. Almost nine thousand passenger are being inconvenienced for reasons beyond our control.
Trains that are being stopped because of rail blockade at Chautara.

Thats why I was thinking why there hasnt been any updates on 12423 & 12510 ex NBQ....Thankfully all the trains have started moving & Rajdhani is about to pass through New Alipurduar.But yes traffic has been badly hit.Thanks for providing news of the exact reason for this blockade.
BTW,Kamatapur will never gain a separate state status unless & untill Gorkhaland is granted.But Koch Rajbanshi's already belong to SC status & I dont see any reason for converting them into ST.
