Nine passenger trains are being stopped at different stations (position at 11.00 A.M) because AKRASU has staged a Rail Roko (blockade) on track at Chautara station since 7.28 A.M. demanding separate Kamatapur State & ST status for Koch Rajbanshis. Almost nine thousand passenger are being inconvenienced for reasons beyond our control.
Trains that are being stopped because of rail blockade at Chautara.

I think 12423 Dn & 12424 & 12436 Up Rajdhani's are the most important trains in the list which've suffered due to the blockade.These AKRASU people had staged a similar protest for the same demand in New Coochbehar a couple of years ago.For obstructing Rajdhani Exp for more than 3 Hrs & Guwahati Trivandrum for 2 Hrs their organization was penalized for Rs 11,000/- due to the harrasment caused to the public.I think they'll be fined for today's action again as already 3 Rajdhani's & 1 Garib Rath are involved in the Rail Roko.
