What I understand from your post is that if a train departs (arrives?) from a station enroute between 00:01 to 00:59 hrs, the tatkal ticket will be available even for the 3rd day in advance?
That is on 1st, booking for 4th?

Yes, I just wanted to show the msg (pic in Re# 80067-39 ) which appears when one tries to change the boarding station beyond ARP
