Whats the difference between an EOG and a LRM...??
And also trains like gujrat mail, lucknow mail and jnaneswari exp has so many a.c coaches (about 8 to 12),then also they don't need any EOG,but garib raths and yuva, who also run with 10 to 15 a.c bogies, why need a EOG...??

EOG-EOG = End-on Generator
go for click here
LRM go for light rail maufactring prefer for need to hard generator to control the voltage
and also ot os not used in mail express or superfast since it is eaisly work on battry voltage not require gen

actually EOGs are given for powere generating in LHB coaches which don't have self generation. In ICF coaches thet are self generating.. Have batteries fitted at the bottom, and are charged with the dynamo connected to them from the wheels..
Ok.
So it means that all ICF coaches are self generating.
But what about the shatabdis, durontos and rajdhanis which are with ICF bogies like pune-sc shatabdi,hwh-puri duronto and jat rajdhani...??
And also i just checked that only in mumbai rajdhani, its given LRM,whereas all other in india are provided EOG,..why??

Not all ICF coaches are self generative. traditional Rajdhani and Shatabdi coaches were not self generative and needed a generator for power. Non self generative coaches are preferred because of less weigh and fast run so are used in Rajdhani or shatabdi. all other express or mail are equipped with self generating capability which restricts the train speed not to cross beyond 110KMPH.
