According to One of the members in FB of Kolkata Railfanns group, this train went with P-4.
is this the end of era of Alco's for this train??

It may not get a WAP untill the whole section of JRC-JAT is electrified. moreover not much of a speed difference may be visible since there have been no drastic improvements in time table for trains who hae started to get electric locos for e.g. Varuna Express/Akaltakht...the time table remains more or less the same..we may have to wait for complete doubling of the BSB-SLN-LKO section to see a reduction in the total time taken by trains on this route..!!
From First week of June 2013, the entire stretch via Sultanpur is electrified. Routes via PBH and FD is still under diesel haulage
Yes, they could easily do that with Alco getting attached at LDH/JRC while P-4 from HWH - LDH/JRC.
