if u r tkt is E-tkt and remained in WL after chart preparation, u r tkt gets canceled automatically and d amount will b refunded to your A/c within 3 - 4 working days.
WITH WAIT-LISTED E-TKT U CAN'T TRAVEL AS U R TKT GETS CANCELD AUTOMATICALLY.
if u travel with e-tkt,which remains in WL after chart, u will treated as ticketless travel.

Right Now I have confirm Ticket. But I confirms with T/T for the Future Booking. I have to Know, What IF?
As per rule a PRS WL ticket holder can not board reserved coach unless consented by onduty TTE.
The WL ticket can be cancelled only at journey start station only within 3 hrs of actual train departure.
The WL ticket can be cancelled only at journey start station only within 3 hrs of actual train departure.
Waitlisted E tickets will get automatically cancelled and money will be refunded to your account in 3 days. So there is no double/single loss.
From your narration, it sounds like it is an e-ticket (via net), which obviously gets canceled automatically if not confirmed at chart. So, what the TTE did/said is absolutely correct because there is no valid ticket as such because of auto cancellation. Ignorance of law is no excuse. If you buy your ticket from any of the PRS counters, yes you can, again, at the pleasure of TTE. Hope it is clarified.
