Could you answer my question: What is the capacity (in tonnes) of full rake for carrying/transporting maize in Bihar (Khagaria) and all other states which ever you know?
We often see transport of maize by rakes in Bihar and recently in Guntur also.
and give me the source of answer also.

You mean loaded rake with maize to Bihar or from Bihar...???
Bihar & adjoining North Bengal already produces sufficient maize & is already tranported by BCNA rake..All the loadings are done from various stations of Katihar Division.
BTW, a full rake can transport upto a max 2550 Mtonnes of maize in baggaged condition.

Another thing is Khagaria doesnt have facility for incoming bulk storage..if at all you want to transport it must be done through Mansi Jn(MNE) 8 km from KGG
Just I want to know the loaded rake capacity.
