pbrbbanerjee 1 blog postsHi all, I don't have much knowledge about reservation in train. However I have a question about online booing in train no- 12839 , howrah chennai mail in sleeper class.
As I know this train has 12 sleeper class bogey & each bogey has 72 berths, but when I open irctc site for the advance booking of this train I saw that there is only 124 seat available in sleeper class. How is this possible ? I am very surprised. When I asked the same to irctc customer support they replied that they are inbound with Indian railways terms & conditions.

Sir the No. you've figured out is too less....I think there is some serious Error..Because all the South Bound trains from HWH(24 coach) has atleast 400 berths available in GEN quota & 238 in Tatkal Quota...I think you're checkig during the Durga Puja vacations...so most of the berths are sold out.
