y is ALD-ALY section not electrified ?
is it double ?
trains lyk Chauri Chaura, Shiv Ganga, Swatantra Senani etc etc can undergo loco change here n lessen pressure on ALD ?

Its not just about Loco change but Staff Management also hampers Loco change at different locations..
To deploy Loco change, ALY needs yard tracks to sustain, Temporary Shed & staff managing space @ station which further will create haphazard issue @ ALY & would create congestion for other train (either they will await @ outer or train standing will await other train to pass-thru for Loco movements) & hence add extra idle time & lead TAT same as of ALD.
Further, with Loco change, ALD Stoppage cant be minimised from 15-20 Mins to...

yeah ! correct !
actually i feel irritated how ALD staff handles d loco change process, trains w8ing at outer. etc etc
dere r various trains vich halts at ALD 45min which is more dan enuf !

The halt is for loco reversal & idle time negotiates TAT for loco movement from back to front, as it negotiates regular traffic to restore!!
Further, train which dont have loco reversal but change (Rewa SF, Swatantrata Sainani, Mumbai-HWH Mail etc) finish the entire process within 20-25 mins!!
PS: Train getting LC have same kinda idle timing @ DD where u will find every LC train idling not less than 40-45 mins!!
