ashriv2020 18 blog postsI think AC coach should not be adjacent to General coach. It's very tough to entered into the Ac coach due to havey rush in General coaches. Train Management should be care about this.
ac coaches are generally placed at one end to avoid movement of sleeper class passengers through ac coaches. as the inflow and outflow of sleeper class passengers is remarkable inside the train, so all ac coaches are placed at one end...near the unreserved coaches...
If it was a sleeper then the General coach folks would start entering Sleeper coaches (As if they dont now !!). With AC atleast they hold back and do not enter.
General coaches has to be there somewhere on the train :P isnt it ??

If you notice more than One AC coaches adjacent to each other, you can enter through vestibules to reach your berth if General coach rush is disturbing...
This train has 4 GS @ one end & 2 @ the other end....AC coaches are placed @ which side...please clarify.
