As per my understanding, Advanced Reservation Period is 60 days. I have to travel on 05-Nov-2013 from Secunderbad to Jhansi. As of today IRCTC website is not allowing booking 05-Nov-2013 in AP Express, which is expected. However website is showing that there are no seats in Gorakhpur Exp (already WL14/15) and it is allowing to book tickets for Rajdhani. I want to know if ARP is different for different trains / routes or it is same across all trains / routes.
It is the same, GKP Exp/Rajdhani must be starting previous day from SBC so the ARP for all stations start as soon as it starts for train's originating station...
Bangalore City - Gorakhpur Express which reaches Sc on 5 th nov will start from SBC on 4 th nov. ie, ARP for that train is today and went WL.
