People are saying that this degraded to a bailgadi now...i agree to this but the halts has no hands behind this.
Howrah to chennai is nearly 1650km and 11 halts for this distance,its enough and required..
But yes,i agree to the point that its cleanliness and pantry service is worst in this region. This can be remedy by giving lhb or new CBC coaches to this SER king.

I had also traveled in both mas mail and coromandal from bza to bls in all classes except general & 1a of mail and general of coromandal.......sleeper was same,i.e rusty,old,torn out,without plugs,stinky toilets and full of north east,bengali,odiya,bihari stinky labour class youth roaming here there without t-shirts.....
But a.c classes were not that bad......linens,electricity, attendents,pantry boys were good....in 1 a.c of coromandal,in my cabin,there was a couple who deboarded at vskp...after that the attendent came....and offered me for company to drink alcohol.....:-O:-O....u can imagine how much the attendent are caring if u travelling in coromandal....:->
