yeah. its a very small village..All passenger trains plying through this station stop. Amaravathi Express also stops... Thats a fairly large number...for the village it is...
Got its prominence only after the GTL bypass was laid between GY-PDL, else Amaravathi was not stopped earlier here...

True...other day i was thinking of junctions where hardly trains stop and patronage is poor too...one such is jankampet junction after nizamabad with one platform :)

yeah.. even KLU for that matter is similar.. Only Kurla Express stops there and rest all are passenger trains...KLU after gauge conversion between KLU & GTL, GY is bypassed.
Its like a DIAMOND. KLU-GTL-PDL-GY-KLU. And its Diagonal is GTL-GY double line..
