Amboli a charming hill resort in the Sahyadri mountains at an altitude of 2200 feet Surrounded by thick forests and verdant hills and valleys is near by. From Sawantwadi you can visit the religious place at Redi (20 km). This is the last station in the state of Maharashtra.

Note that Belgaum is a better station to go to Amboli. From Sawantwadi there is a difficult ghat to Amboli.
Is Madure a full fledged station? I thought it was a halt station
