dep time for golden temple train no12904 is 07:40 am dated 21-12-2010 unfortunately i have got ac three tier waiting ticket (wl2) through tatkal scheme from reservation counter
so i just want to know whether i should wait for the confirmation of the ticket
if there is no possibility of getting confirmed (or rac) berth then at what time i should go to reservation counter for cancellation of my tatkal ticket so as to avail maximum refund.....

has come to my knowledge that if my tatkal ticket is not confirmed till the departure of train or if it is waiting ,only rs 60 will be deducted at the time of cancellation is this true??
someone said that i should cancel my tatkal ticket 24 hour before the departure of train ,if it is so then how it is possible for me to go to reservation counter at 07:40 am on 20-12-2010,
or i must say that i should go for it on the 19-12-2010 but before 14:00 pm because the counter will be open from 08:00 am to 14:00 pm because of sunday

further i would like to know that if i dont get confirmed seat in golden temple (ac three tier ) train ,may i suffer in ac three tier boggie or i will be caught and fined by ticket collector
