PGT as mentioned above is Divisional headquarters. In any case the train did have a technical stop there (I guess it was for change of loco staff).Probably ED could have been given. As far as CBE is concerned, the only thing i feel is since it already has a duronto/shatabdi originating from there maybe the railways would have thght something on those lines and not given it a stop
Trivandrum Rajdhani used to halt at Palakkad (Palghat) when it goes via Chennai Central before completion of KRC route.
rlys will always think differently when anything comes up regarding coimbatore junction..
we couldnt figure out why cbe is different in railways view.. may be if you know do share with us..
