Not allowed to overtake trains like Sachkand,Shridham is the big factor. In this run it trailed Sachkand for a good 490 kms right from Bina to Nepanagar when the overtake was actually supposed to happen at Bina itself(as per TT). AC exp was allowed to overtake Sachkand only at Nepanagar(That too when it entered into CR's territory). Result,delay of 1 hrs 42 mins which could have been nil if it was allowed clear run in this sector. Alas!
Since there have been numerous debates about loco's. And what i have seen is WAP4 is equally capable for 110's, 130's and 150's. But what i believe the LP's given for Shatabdi's/RAJ's/Duronto's marks the difference. Im sure, these premium train LP's are majorly given these trains only because they need to run a tad higher than normal SF's.

tn has avg speed of 80 kmph .. it arrives all station 10-20 min early
