Doesn't it give u that **Gorgeous** feeling. Yes friends, the person in discussion is Mr. Orlando who travelled all the way from Argentina, a land devoid of railways, to experience our own nilgiri mountain railways. He was an ardent railfan and his enthusiasm not only dwarfed our passion but also caused goosebumps all over. us made it on d big day - roshan, narayan sir, jayraj sir, minti sir, anand sir and of course the best host I have ever seen. ..nazeer sir. We all assembled at mettupalayam, the supposed to be genesis of our dream run, the fulfillment of a long cherished dream, a dew drop from heaven, which was so near yet so far from us...it was a virgin trip for two of us...namely roshan and me...
We occupied our seats and believe me no jingle has ever amused my ears more than the hoot of the steam engine which was to haul a three coacher long toy train...
And lo behold !! The journey begins !!
