It'll definitely be cheaper for IR to construct, but I've lived in the hilly areas in Rajsamand and Ajmer districts. Yahaan jitna kam development hai, woh dekh kar lagta hai ki the cheap, fast transport that railway offers can be life-changing for the people here.

I've seen this happen in ICF coaches. This doesn't happen in LHB coaches.
In an ICF coach, connect your charger to a power bank (if you have) and charge your phone using the power bank. The touchscreen will work fine.

Pending nahi hai. FY 2022-23 khatam hone ke last hafte mein Gati Shakti se about 1000 crore ki funding mil gayi.
Sir, us se fark nahi padta. Somesar jaane ke liye base tunnel banaane ke alawa koi option nahi hai. Road ka route bhi Somesar direct nahi jaata, instead it goes via Kamlighat and a very steep descent that leads to Karmal Chauraha.

Devgarh-Marwar toh 5 saal pehle railway board ne reject kar diya tha, on account of very high cost and unbankability. Baaki saari cheezein ki sanctuary area se ho kar nikalta hai wagairah toh bas chochlebaazi hai. Koi janaa 30 km ki line ke liye utne paise nahi lagayega jitne mein 200-200 km line ban jaati hai...

Falna nikaalna ho toh Nathdwara se nahi, Charbhuja Road se Gomti, Desuri, Rani hote hue jaana padega. Nathdwara se adjoining pahadiyaan (part of Kumbhalgarh sanctuary) bahut steep hain, and the passes are very steep (Ranakpur ghat section, Jargaji pass, etc). Desuri ki naal zyaada navigable hai.
Udaipur - Pindwara ka proposal bheja tha (search for Sirohi Road in this link: click here ). 6600 crore ki laagat thi, sarkaar ne haath khade kar diye, railway ne unremunerative bataate hue shelve kar diya.

Yes and no. Existing tiger reserves mein se railway lines ja rahi hain, and wahaan extra lines add hone ke proposal sometimes clear bhi ho jaate hain (eg Rajaji, Darrah, ...)
Plus local wildlife enthusiasts ka maanna hai ki shayad Kumbhalgarh mein tigers laane ka proposal cancel ho jaaye, for the reason that it'll clash with the leopard zone of Jawai (which is rapidly receding into the hills), and because Kumbhalgarh is a very thin reserve and so tigers will wander out all the time.

Bhai mera is area mein mahine-do mahine mein ek baar jaana hota hai kaam ke silsile mein. Ye mera dekha hua hai. The alignment you've shared is impossible. Ekdum se dhalaan aati hai, saal mein chaar paanch trailers ke accident hote rehte hain. Roadways waale bhi yahaan se nahi aate, woh Kamblighat Chaurahe se Karmal Chauraha ho kar nikalte hain. Saraadhna ho kar ke hi raasta ja sakta hai, aur usmein bhi 2-3 km ka pier section hoga.

Nahi ho sakta. In an earlier post I talked about the Ranakpur ghat section, which is further down this line. Literally khaai chalti hai road ke saath saath, and the road goes along the folds of the hills. Even then, it's a 500 meters drop from Ropan Mata to Narvariya Anicut over a distance of 16 kilometers.
Again, Google Maps par dekh kar ye idea nahi hota hai. Agar dekhna hi hai toh terrain view mein dekho.

Bhai I keep saying wahaan se ho kar nahi jaaya jaa sakta. Train hai, humvee nahi hai. Highway ke chalte Bhim ka bypass already ban raha hai, on the eastern side. Wahaan se Amarpura hote hue Narbad Kheda tak rolling hills hain. Wahi ek raasta hai, and udhar bhi piers par 2-3 km ka section nikaalna padega because beech mein WDFC aata hai.
Usmein kuchh pataa nahi chalega. You can't eyeball elevations on satellite view alone, and in any case please listen when locals who have been to the region are correcting you :)
