What is to be done if one wishes to board a train a station before the one from which reservation is made. can somebody guide please.

For train 12112 the irctc is showing the time of departure as 19:05 from Amravati where is on this site the old timing of 17:25 is shown. Pl. correct the info or correct me. Thanx.

Need help in understanding the calculation done in arriving at the ticket charges levied for senior citizens.
I booked two separate tickets for two ladies ,one of them is senior citizen, from Usmanabad to Dadar. The fare summary shows fare as Rs.497 plus reservation charges as Rs.25 and superfast charges as Rs.30 making a total charge as Rs.552. In case of Senior citizen the charge levied is Rs.319. These charges are besides the IRCTC charge of Rs.20. Applying the 50% rate for SRCTZNW I could not arrive at the figure of Rs.319. 50% of 497 is 249 plus 25+30 makes it Rs.304.

Dear Sir,
As I understand lower birth quota is for Senior citizens and ladies above 45 travelling alone.
Is the condition of travelling alone is applicable to both senior citizens and women above 45?
Is the quota available to two senior citizens travelling together. They can be Husband and wife. If not the purpose of providing quota for them is defeated as inconvenience...
