Thanks. It is 65/- per ticket precisely + other charges (for me it was 28/-) so Total cancellation = 93/- per ticket.

Hi, Is it possible to book the tickets even though the status showing is REGRET by going to ticket window? I am doing so because I have already got one ticket but that is on the name of my lady friend and I don't want to take risk of arguing with the Ticket checker about that later.
Alternate suggestions are also welcome.

Its doesnt come under any category as my friend has booked 4-5 tickets and there 1 ticket is free no as the lady has dropped her plan.

What if I buy a General ticket and check with TTE before boarding the train and ask him to allot that to me by paying the difference amount.Will that work?

I have to travel from Burhanpur(M.P) to Bangalore City on 20th Nov. By Karnataka Exp. which departs from New Delhi on 19th Nov.
My question is- Would I be able to do Tatkal Booking on 19th Nov from Burhanpur Station for the same train??
