hizmzm^~ 2944 blog postsIF HanumanGarh needed a train to Nanded Sahib, then why didn't IR run 17623/24 via HMH, why they compromised with this train? Some times IR takes ruthless pointless decisions.
Its just a waste of very good train. 17623/24 serves the town (RSNR) of MP SGNR. That's why it runs via canal loop line. It would have been far better had railways thought for running a link express for both 17623/24 and 12485/86 rather than taking away from the passengers of SGNR, ABS, and MAL.

Onboard 22498 on 1/2/19 (ex BWT). Another item from bucket list was striked off, pics of which are attached. The beautiful Shindawane ghats. Woke up at 5 in morning while we halted at Satara and after sometime till Pune, was on the gate. Daundaj curve wished Good morning with the Shindawane ghats making morning better.

Totally agree. Rather an overnight express train from BKN to ASR via sog sgnr fzlk is required.

Only one passenger has been introduced for SGNR. The sgnr - Sikar express is the broad gauge version of the legendary sgnr-JP metre gauge express. Please get your facts right. Beside just compare the demand and passenger revenue of sgnr with other stations.
