jishnuthakur12301^~ 8849 blog postsSealdah - Ajmer Express should have a halt for atleast 2 minutes at Dakshineswar. Previously Lal Quila Express was the only option for Dakshineswar to Delhi, now Lal Quila Express is cancelled permanently and there is no train from Dakshineswar to Delhi. If Sealdah - Ajmer Express gets halt at Dakshineswar, Passengers can deboard at Agra and then catch any Delhi Bound train from Agra.
The same passengers from Dakshineswar can take a metro to Howrah or a suburban train to Sealdah and instead take trains like Howrah Rajdhani, Sealdah Rajdhani or Sealdah Duronto and reach Delhi way before reaching the same destination by changing train at Agra

PiyushSrivastava^~ 20332 blog postsGot to know this from my father, on 24.4.24 enquiry counter officials were saying 12021 Janshatabdi will depart but don't know when. This was happening repeatedly and people lost their cool. They broke the window panes. RPF had to come to the spot. This has become a daily affair for 12021/22, arrive late, depart late. Can't they just cancel one run and make it on time? And make it run very close to the schedule (if not exactly on the schedule) everyday? Oh sorry, obviously freight is the lifeline of SER, passenger trains are not at all important.

I remember it happened twice or thrice, passengers of KGP TATA/TATA KGP Passenger held the Train Manager captive due to late running of the train. They were assured of timely run but didn't happen
That's just level 1 case. In KGP-HWH section, Office time commuters beat the shit out of late running PKU-HWH EMU local's Guard after it went to loop at MCA. Even the RPFs were clueless to tackle the mob. "Punctuality isn't the responsibility of stations' staffs", inscribed on walls in Bengali after they marched into station building asking questions. Hardly, few articles published. No coverage to national media.
Even SER Mazdoor Union or any such body of SER (pardon, I forgot the name) had written a letter on this. Zero action taken. Don't know what happened to SER CKP division, it is giving a nearly proper run to 13288/87 since a week. It had been running many hours late in the past month ever since it got extended to Ara.
Today Digha-Hwh Tamrolipto exp entered howrah at 17.30 pm. Don't know about todays Kandari exp status
SER KGP Division punctuality is -1000% now. Very bad condition.
This govt gave joomla on mission raftar, 130 kmph, 160 kmph , development of rail infra, etc and money eaten in corruption in last 8 yrs and the result is that since last 2 yrs punctuality is worst and passengers r suffering daily.

Situation is totally out of control from SER. Only 4th and 5th line can solve this problem but it will not happen due to State and Central ego. Nowadays SHM bound trains was halted at BVA , SEL , ADL , ULB for 1-2hrs due to so much load at SRC - SHM line but SER still not complete that SEL SHM Project!

Bhai fir tum Gujarat or Maharashtra Sampark kranti hi dekh lo . Gujarat wali bhi limited stops par rukti h or Maharashtra wali to sirf BDTS BVI me hi rukti h . Jaruri nhi ki har Sampark kranti Uske state me har stop par ruke . Ese to Farakka bhi jab Malda se chalti thi to MLDT NFK hi rukti thi fir seedhe SBG . Geography ko samjho bhai . West Bengal ka shape esa h na bhai ki jaha se originate hoti h uske kuch time baad hi dusra state aa jata h . Malda ke east me Bangladesh h West me Jharkhand. Ab batao bhai koi train Kese itna West Bengal ko cover karegi New Jalpaiguri ke west me Kishanganj aa jata h .

1) Districts of WB covered - Alipurduar, Coochbehar,Uttar Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad, Birbhum, West Barddhaman ( 7 districts , 7 stops)
2) It can connect major tourist Destinations & industrial cities of Bengal like Dooars Region, Darjeeling hills, Tarapith Mandir, Durgapur Industrial belt through One train.
