Piyush Goyal Ji Jo track replacement ka kaam kerwa rahe h wo to bahut Sahi ker rahe Hai
Although abhi trains block ki wajah se delay ho rahi Hai but 1-2 month me on time Chalegi..... And there will be no derailments also I hope...
Bas is replacement kaam me corruption na kere railway wale... Especially NR and ECR..... Agar corruption hua to phir ye bhi bekaar ho jayega ..

secondly RUB ROB ka bhi kaam sahi ker rahe Hain... Is saal khatm ho jayega to badhiya Hai... Lekin inki maintenance honic chaiye werna baarish ke season me paani bhar jayega.
Thirdly Jo decision liya Hai ki ab Sirf CBC coach banege wo bhi badhiya Hai... CBC don't derail in a deadly way so CBC will save lives...
Hog Wala decision bhi acha Hai... It will save diesel... #LHB production must also be increased.

And bullet train ka decision Mujhe Sahi nahi lagta... Bullet train is too costly aur Jo Antyodaya Hai use sleeper bhhi hone chaiye... Many passenger prefer sleeper ( middle class ka fav )...
In future I hope goyal ji automatic track maintenance machines ka use Karenge... They will save lot of time and money also..
Doubling aur Gauge conversion ke work ko Speedup kernna chahiye... un routes ko Electrification ki priority deni chahiye jaha per freight traffic and passenger bahut jyada Hai ... Low traffic routes ke Efication ki abhi jaroorat nahi h..
Branded trains ki scheme Jo Suresh Prabhu ne start ki thi wo bahut achi thi... Vizag steel branded train was good... Goyal sir must continue that scheme....

The Brahmaputra Mail is a daily train which connects Delhi with Dibrugarh (an important town in upper Assam). Originally this train ran between Delhi Junction railway station and Guwahati and was named as Tinsukia Mail (Since it connected to Tinsukia via MG section that ran between Guwahati and Tinsukia). Later it was renamed as Brahmaputra Mail after the river since it is one of the most important river for the state and one of amongst top 20 large river in the world. After successful gauge conversion between Guwahati-Lumding-Dibrugarh, it was extended to Dibrugarh.This train belongs to Northern Railway (NR) zone of Indian Railway and operated and maintained by Delhi Division (DLI Division) of NR. The train is numbered as 14055/14056.
14055 departs Dibrugarh every day at 22:45 and arrives at Delhi Junction at 5:55 on the fourth day from departure (e.g.:the train which departs Dibrugarh on Thursday at 22:45 would arrive at Delhi on Sunday at 5:55) covering a distance of 2598 km in 54 hrs and 55 mins with an average moving speed of 47 km/h.
14056 departs Old Delhi every day at 23:40 and reaches Dibrugarh at 4:00 on the fourth day (e.g.: the train departing DLI at 23:40 on Thursday would reach DBRT on Sunday early morning at 4:00) covering a total distance of 2598 km in 52 hrs and 20 mins with an average moving speed of 49 km/h.

This train is assigned with a WAP-4/WAP-7 locomotive from Delhi Junction to Mughalsarai.
From Mughalsarai-Dibrugarh and Dibrugarh-Mughalsarai the train is usually hauled by WDP-4 locomotive.
#Trivia:
This is one of the oldest running train of this zone. This train is famous for its defense personal using this train for travel.
This train was also involved in two the major railway disasters in Indian History. One was the mail bombing of the train between Kokrajhar and New Bongaigaon in December 1996 by bodo militants an second was the Gaisal Rail Disaster, a head on collision between Avadh Assam Express and Brahmaputra Mail.

It has been slowed down to run in 9 hours from the earlier 7.5 hours run. Besides the #catering similar to Shatabdi n Rajdhani has also been stopped.

I feel #KR should unleash the older version of this #beastie in the form of a #Shatabdi Express.....
