Doubling of Bhigwan - Bhalawani section is progressing very slowly. But the electrification work is progressing at rapid speed. From Bhigwan to Madha we can see poles installed. Also wiring work started from Kurduwadi outer towards Bhigwan side. Wiring work is completed between Kurduwadi outer to Kem outer including Dhavlas Station. Kem & Bhalawani stations will be the next target for this month. By Dec 2020 Bhigwan - Kurduwadi - Miraj section will be electrified. In the last image, you can see construction of Daund Electric Loco Shed.

Catenary laying works in full swing GR station. The half way stopped electrification works have been restarted again. Already wadi till gulbarga outer all wiring is done now they are doing electrification of gulbarga station yard..
