Medha Group is very much delighted to express sincere gratitude to IndianRailways for awarding INR 2,211 crore tender for 44 rakes of VandeBharat Trainsets. The contract is for design, development, manufacture, supply, integration, testing and commissioning of IGBT based 3-phase Propulsion, control System, Bogie and other equipment for the rakes which will have 16 cars each.

company called Titagarh Wagons had won a overseas contract to supply 54 coaches to Italy's Ferrovia Circumetnea Metro Railway. They'll be built at a cost of INR 1740 Crores. For the first time, a native-Indian company is going to make metro coaches for another country! Titagarh Wagons Limited (TWL) has never manufactured metro coaches. But it has refurbished the old metro coaches of #MetroRailwayKolkata . It has bought Italy's Firema Transporti company and now, it has the technology to manufacture metro coaches.
