The main delay is caused by SER and SECR. Even LHB trains get delayed as they have been seen prioritizing freights more than pax trains. So I'm not sure whether priority and punctuality improves or not...
See the condition , even after multitracking , still SECR and SER are not giving priority to passengers. In future Howrah to Mumbai via Nagpur I think so will be the longest 4 line rail route.
Even EAST WEST DFC from Palghar to Kharagpur is much needed.

As per the news came few days before, CR Pune has arranged one extra rake for Azad Hind from some leftover coaches of different trains... So now they are saying that the train will leave on time from Pune even if coming rake is delayed.

Azad Hind ko LHB kya fayda?? theek time pe toh run nahi karwa sakte. CR proposed a Pune-Hiwrah Train via 12321/22 route, but got rejected.
