What ever the problem in railways members label them as Bus lobby and don't accept the reality of infrastructure in IR. Today Air, Rail and Road are competing against each other in getting travellers and the same is said by their respective minister and infrastructure being developed. Rail fans should accept the reality. Bus lobby have their own problems which Nitin Gatkari is trying to solve while the state governments are not implementing them citing revenue loss and high fuel prices which increased by 50% after covid.
Infrastructure has long way to go in IR for sure. We can acknowledge competition if it is healthy, not when it is corrupt and gutting other services. India needs massive public transportation projects, especially railway infrastructure as not everyone can own a car, the whole country will grind to a halt if the percentage of car owners increase. Streets will be full of traffic. They should literally start diverting some of those funds to Railways.

I feel Road, Railways, Aviation ministries should work in tandem nitin gadkari is pulling travelers saying that why traveling in train,plane when you can travel in your car much faster

The maintenance of this train has literally gone down, even in the 2AC coach there were cockroaches and clogged washrooms. CSMT didn't even do a basic cleanup.
I raised the Twitter complaint to CR, I was informed that in Pune things will be improved..but no one actually came up until Solapur, that too only for the clogged washroom.
Its really pathetic to see...
