The railway lines in some sections are not fit for high speed running of trains. I can't say how they have been cleared for high speed runs. I haven't travelled through many routes. But I have travelled through few routes. Like from Kharagpur to Tatanagar by Janshatabdi at speeds of 120 kmph. Trains in this section run so smooth that you can't know the speed until you check it by speedometer. But while travelling in some sections like between Garhwa Road and Mugasarai, by Rajdhani Express at 130 kmph, it is so rough travel that the coach is constantly bouncing in all direction violently, up - down, left - right, that few times I was literally thrown off my berth and was prevented from falling down by the side chains which hold the berth. the wheels of the train are still on the tracks, when the coach itself is bouncing so violently. But all the rest people had no concern at all, sleeping in peace. The tracks of such routes should be repaired and until repair is done, maximum permissible speed of the trains should be reduced.

Even CNI-ASN, ADRA-KGP feels so dam smooth. Whereas, 130 in HWH-KAN(HBC) often feels very shaky. KAN-ASN is slightly better though.

Howrah-Mumbai main line. The debris from the Howrah-Mumbai Mail and goods train was cleared, and the tracks repaired. Services were restored on all three lines by 4:03 PM on Thursday. Railway staff and officers remained at the accident site. Train operations resumed on the third line at 8:50 PM on Wednesday, with a goods train followed by the Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali Express. The up line, which suffered the most damage, was repaired by 4:02 AM on Thursday. A goods train and the Howrah-Ahmedabad Express were passed through.
