If this train is extended up to Mhow/ Indore/Ujjain,it is very useful to the pilgrims of Mahakaleswar and Omkareswar.

Narmada Express is there to cater Indore/Ujjain right now. And a New train is required, Amarkantak already have a huge load of passengers, if this will get extended then the rush will increase. Better to start a new train from Indore to Bilaspur via JBP-NIR-G so that newly GC section will get connected to BPL and INDB and this new train can ease down the pressure on Amarkantak and Narmada Express.

Thank you for your suggestion. Certainly make sense. To avoid the risk of missing connecting trains, I am planning to keep a day or two for JBP Sight seeing and then proceed to Amarkantak from Jabalpur, either by bus (if day journey) or by 12854 (if night journey). Many thanks

So you were fine with the SL coaches being occupied ?
It's just the case of the tiger tasting human blood first the tiger will only kill people entering the jungle but then the tiger will enter the nearby human villages to eat humans if not dealt with before hand.
Here Railways never took action on unauthorised people in SL coaches so now they have started entering the AC coaches coz they know no action will be taken against them.

In year 2003 when I used to travel in 12317 and 12303 regularly between Madhupur and Patna.। This schene was common between Kiul and Patna. Bahut baar to Patna me deboard karne me bhi kafi dikkat hui.

The answer you only told. Tiger is already already tasted blood of people entering jungle(sleeper) after rake standardization tiger started tasting the blood of humans in villages (AC coaches). Here it is just a comparison to your example my opinion is sufficient sleeper coaches are there, many may have booked sleeper tickets and the unreserved can be accommodated in sleeper only . But now the people who is paying approximately 3 times the sleeper fare also have to experience the unreserved.

So you justify the overcrowding of SL coaches ?
And mind you this particular train does not have rake standardization still people entered AC coaches. The root cause of the problem is corruption not rake standardization.
Overcrowding is a serious safety and security risk even in unreserved coaches.
