yes in 2011 when I travelled in 12346 it costed Rs 321/- now it costs Rs 490/-

Now the Fare i can see for 12346 is Rs.440 only..

Sir the time which I'm talking abt there were only 36 berths in Tatkal but now at least 276/281(almost equal to GEN quota) belongs to Tatkal....Rlys move is nice because they're discouraging Free Pass,PTO,Army,Defence,Cancer Patient,Scouts Guides etc & allows only genuine travellers but too much of charge is levied from poor man.

Another kind of fares increased proposal only.Later days Railways may levies Lavatory and water charges,Platform height improvement charges,Roof providing charges,Platform connecting over bridge/under bye-pass charges etc with surcharge and additional educational cess etc .If we suggest some other charges they may be levied later days to us .

Safety surcharge also levied in Bus fares and freight charges by trucks since the Buses and Lorries are utilize the existing and the proposed additional ROB/RUB without any delay in their operation.
